Update: Our Planned Maintenence Date Has Been Moved To September 14th
LIQUIDSKY WILL BE DOWN FOR PLANNED MAINTENANCE STARTING THURSDAY, 9/14. All data centers will be affected (except Hong Kong). We’ll have more updates tomorrow.
We will be implementing a brand new storage system to improve the current performance issues that have been affecting some users. Some users may lose their data during the migration. If you’re one of those users, you will receive an email notifying you and highly recommending that you backup any/all important data using something like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Maintenance is expected to last all day Saturday.
The new storage system is a work of art, but the only way to test at scale is to release it globally to see how it performs. We thank all of you for beta testing for us and really need to hear your feedback about your experience with this storage system once it has been implemented. We expect to alleviate some of the connectivity issues and overall server performance with this new storage system.
Lastly, a friendly reminder that the São Paulo and Milan data centers will be shut down completely on 9/10. Starting Friday, 9/15 (tomorrow) you will be unable to login to these servers. All ad supported accounts connected to the SP data center will be deactivated – if you do not want your account to be deactivated, please make a purchase. Both PAYG and subscription users currently connected to the São Paulo data center will be connected to the Dallas data center while ALL users connected to Milan will be connected to the Frankfurt data center. All SkyComputers in Milan and São Paulo will be deleted.
Thank you for your understanding and see you in the Sky!
